Meraki was founded by Isabel Garcia, a Venezuelan-American entrepreneur, baker, and parish leader, widely recognized within Saint Katharine Drexel Parish in Weston and now actively serving at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish.

Alongside her husband, Fernando Ludert, Isabel has combined her passion for faith, family, and food with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Together, they have led Compass Ministry, inspiring others through service while building businesses that reflect their values.

Meraki was born from Isabel’s desire to share joy through desserts that align with healthier lifestyles. Her mission is simple yet powerful: to create exceptional gluten-free and sugar-free desserts that bring families and communities together around the table.
